Somebody smart told me that I should be very active on my blog, and since I’ve always thought of it primarily as a place for people to find links to all my available stories and pieces, it’s a bit of a new thing for me to keep it in my consciousness.
Right now I’m at my desk in a pretty dark room and I’m about to get food. I went to Venice Beach today to take pictures of Beyond Baroque. I could see books through the windows. It’s wedged between the fire and police stations because the city technically owns it.
Friday night I interviewed John Waters in the dean’s suite at the film school here at USC. I love his movies and I greatly admire the man. I stared at the mustache to commit it to real memory.
